Darwin Peter Chief

Chief

Born and raised in Onion Lake Cree Nation, I am the child of the late Peter and Lynda Chief. I am a proud descendant of Chief Sikaskoc, a signatory to Treaty No. 6. As a fluent Cree speaker and cultural advocate, I carry forward the teachings and values passed down from my family, Elders, and community. Guided by respect, honesty, and a deep sense of service, I strive to honour my roots and those who have shaped my journey. My leadership is grounded in unity, cultural strength, and a commitment to building a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous future for Onion Lake Cree Nation.
